2011 Spring Top Prospect Showcase
Brandon Kelley is a 2013 SS/RHP with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Evansville, IN who is Home Schooled. Long young build, good athletic frame, projects physically. 7.03 runner, good arm strength for age, soft hands and quick release, growing into body with footwork, has defensive tools to develop. Straight stance hitting, long stride and swing, has some hand quickness, line drives to all fields, lacks present flow/balance. Also pitched, leg raise delivery, deep arm circle, high 3/4's release. Low 80's fastball topped at 83 mph, mostly straight, soft spinning curveball, around the plate and competed. Should keep improving. Good student.
