Mario Morejon is a 5'10" 152 pound 2007 infielder and right handed pitcher from Miami, Florida who attends St Brendan High School. Mario has soft hands in the field and glides to the ball to make plays look easy. His arm is clean and easy with solid arm strength. He threw 75 mph across the infield during the workout. Mario is very flexible as far as where he can play. He played all three infield positions during the games. At the plate, Morejon is a pull hitter with good strength in his swing. He turns on the ball very well and has good power potential. Mario pitched and showed good life on his fastball at 78 mph. His curveball at 64 mph and change up at 60 mph are both pitches that he is developing. He showed good control of his fastball. Mario plays hard at all times and is fun to watch.
