Joey McCarrel is a 2010 3B/MIF with a 6'0'', 185 lb. frame from Eagle, ID who attends Bishop Kelly. McCarrel has an athletic look, with room for continued physical development and additional strength. Moves well on infield, showed range, makes routine plays with accurate throws acorss the diamond. Long swing at the plate, gets hands to ball, hit well in game play making consistent solid contact. Balanced delivery on mound, stays around the zone and forces contact, aware of runners. Good student.
