Kofi Osei-Aning is a 5-10, 160 lb switching hitting senior outfielder from Canada who has improved his strength significantly in the last year. He's a quick twitch athlete who has very good first step quickness and good speed in the 60 at 6.95. He shows aggressiveness on the bases and is looking to steal and use his speed when he has the opportunity. Osei-Aning has quick hands from both sides of the plate. He's looking to pull the ball and will hit more pulled foul balls than most any hitter you will see, especially from the left side. If he could learn to stay back and trust his quick hands and use all fields, he could really blossom as a high average hitter in a hurry. Osei-Aning's hands are strong in addition to quick and the ball jumps off his bat pretty well. Defensively, Osei-Aning is still raw in his routes and throwing mechanics but his speed enables him to run down lots of balls. Good follow, especially if he can make some hitting adjustments.
