Kevin Vieira is a 2006 right handed pitcher/first baseman from Trumbull HS in Trumbull, Connecticut, with a tall and lean 6'5"/192 pound frame. On the mound, Kevin pitches from a 3/4 arm sloth with clean arm action. He is a minimal effort pitcher with a slow, controlled, and balanced delivery. Kevin's fastball was 84 mph and he throws a hard breaking 11-5 curveball with depth. Vieira fields the position well and has a projectable body and velocity. As a right handed hitter, he has a no stride approach at the plate with good raw power and is a line drive hitter. Vieira is a good student as well.
