Brett Thompson is a 2011 OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Waxhaw, NC who attends Marvin Ridge HS. Medium athletic build, room to get stronger. 6.84 runner, charges hard, athletic actions, good hands, big crow hop, good arm strength with on line carry, solid overall in the outfield. Right handed hitter, spread stance, limited lower 1/2 use, good balance, line drive swing, keeps hands pretty short to the ball, squares it up well, should continue to improve with more strength.
