Josh Huff: Huff is a very strong and physically mature prospect with the tools and skills to be a solid college third baseman. He’s surprisingly quick and agile at third base for his size and had one of the best arms at the showcase. Unlike some players who can let it go in workouts but don’t show the same arm strength in games, Huff put on a show defensively in games, making several strong big league type throws from deep at third base. Offensively, Huff has a fluid, line drive swing and the ball comes off his bat hard. He hits from a closed stance and really never gets his strong hips well involved in his swing or he’d have even better bat speed and produce some more power. Huff is a very good player now and can get even better in the future.
