2004 Midwest Top Prospect Showcase
Josh Dunham is a 2005 shortstop/third baseman from Pleasant Hill, Iowa, with a projectable 6'0", 155 lb. frame. He showed solid defensive actions with soft hands and good footwork. Dunham also showed a quick arm, and above average range. At the plate he hit from an upright stance, and had a nice, quick bat with a good path to the ball. He has a line drive swing, and used his lower half well. He showed some athleticism running a 4.50 to first base with good first step quickness, and plays quicker than his sixty time might suggest. Dunham had some solid base hits in the showcase games as well. Josh can play and he's a good student.
