Salazar is a good looking strong first baseman at 6 foot 2 and 210 pounds. He didn't show any Big League tools defensively but there is some real potential with the bat. He can swing the bat pretty hard and if he got his hips into that swing a bit more he could hit with serious wood bat power. He uses an upright posture and centered the ball well, as he continues to grow even stronger he will only increase the power he is already beginning to show. He has a playable arm at 77 mph from first base and with the sink he showed on his throws across the infield, he might even end up on the hill producing ground balls at the next level.
