Joseph Nisa is a 2007 middle infielder/catcher from Stuart, FL with a medium build at 5-9, 165 lbs. Defensively, he shows good range with quick reactions and a good feel for the middle infield. He hits with an open to close approach with a slight drift to the ball at the start of the swing. He takes a short path to the ball with quick hands and he goes with the pitch well. He likes the ball middle-away and he hits hard line drives to the opposite field. He is good lead-off type hitter with good bat control and good hand-eye coordination. He is a young player with good tools and he is a definite follow for 2007.
