Burgos is a thin, lanky 6-3 right hander from Puerto Rico with sidearm delivery. His fastball ranged anywhere from 77 to 85 mph but averaged around 80. For a sidearmer, Burgos’ fastball was fairly straight but he had good command of this pitch. His most effective pitch was a 65-69 mph slurve that had hitters back on their heels frequently. He projects very well and could become a 90 mph side armer in the future.
