Samuel Foster is a 2028 RHP/OF/3B with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Wilmore, KY who attends West Jessamine. Medium current frame with good musculature and plenty of room to add overall physicality in the coming months. Primary position RHP, moving well on the mound and showing a loose arm with a lower angle to release. Above average raw spin rates on all pitches, with life on his fastball that peaked at 84 mph and life at the plate. Bigger slider with depth and tight bite to the glove side missing barrels with ease. Nice projection here. Reps in the field as well working aggressively to the ball with emerging overall glove work as he secures the ball. Feel for angles and plays well in his legs with a deeper funnel and showed feeds from the outfield up to 88 mph with solid accuracy. RHH working from a medium even stance, high handset and high back elbow to start. Hand speed present and attacking the pitch with a bit of a downhill path and getting the barrel out front. Would roll the hands over a bit early here and there but the ball jumped when on time and in the middle of the field. Full array of tools from a primary position pitcher who is also and elite student in the classroom.
