John Spatola is a 2006 OF/P/1B from Roxbury Latin HS in Milton, Massachusetts, with a lean and athletic 6'0"/190 pound frame. John has athletic action in the outfield. He showed good speed and range and a solid arm at 79 mph. As a left handed hitter, Spatola hits from an open stance with a no stride approach. He has very good bat speed and is a line drive hitter. John showed good raw power with a smooth and fluid swing and is a solid hitter. Spatola is a very good student.
