Seitz is a left-handed hitting catcher with a good young body that should fill out well in the future. He has a good package of tools that can be deceiving by his numbers alone. He threw a best pop time of 2.12 at 74 mph down to 2B. He has good footwork and is quick in his actions behind the plate. He runs well enough on the basepaths to tag on the routine sac fly and has some good instincts too. His bat was polished for his age. He showed some hard-hitting ability that we rarely see out of young players with wood. He used a short swing with good bat-speed and the ball came off fast, showing some power. He has a tendency to be pull-conscious but if the ball was left out over the plate you could expect it would be taken hard up the middle. Watch this 05 catcher, we think he will make some noise with that bat.
