Right-handed hitter with a compact, rotational move that stays fairly short to contact and shows some whip through the hands. Works with a slight uphill path and looks for lift, flashing strength and impact out front when the timing is right. Primary catcher on defense, working from a one-knee setup with a clean transfer and exchange and developing online footwork. Pop time was 2.06 with 71 mph arm strength from the crouch. On the mound, works from the stretch with a tall-and-fall look and a 3/4 slot. Fastball sat 81-84 and can get on hitters when ahead in the count, while the slider showed feel to spin in the mid-70s with some length and depth. Named to the PG Chicago Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List. Very good student.
