Joseph Silvestri is a 2006 middle infielder from Floral Park, New York, with a strong and athletic 5'11"/175 pound frame. Silvestri is a legitimate switch hitter. He has a good base from the left side with a good approach. He generates very good bat speed and is a line drive hitter from the left side. As a right handed hitter, he has a no stride approach with good hands. Joseph has athletic actions in the infield with good range. He has a solid arm at 81 mph and is a very good defensive shortstop. Silvestri is a must follow.
