Defensively, Madilynn is an outfielder with quick feet and a wide range of coverage on the green, taking efficient routes to the ball. She delivers strong, accurate one hop throws to her targets. She needs to continue to develop her tracking and fine tune her transfers to truly take the next steps defensively, but she has some solid tools to work with in the outfield.
Offensively, Lasalle is a left handed hitter/slapper. Hitting she is balanced and more of a placement hitter. As she continues to develop the feel for using her bottom half to generate more barrel whip and pop, her power numbers will continue to rise. Slapping she went with the ball well. She still needs to continue to refine her timing and barrel control. Her power slap is effective.
Overall, Madilynn is a strong athlete full of potential. She is still fairly raw on both sides of the ball, but shows great promise and we think if she continues to work on fine tuning her skills, she will be very fun to watch.
