Lange is a 5-10, 150 lb senior middle infielder from Houston with a slender, developing body. His best tool are his feet and quickness. Lange is a 7.17 runner who has very good range in the middle of the field. His feet put him in position to field the ball cleanly and to make solid, accurate throws. Lange's 75 mph arm strength makes him more ideal for second base than shortstop at the next level but he has a quick release. At the plate, Lange has a short, wristy contact oriented swing. He raises up through the ball at contact and will hit to all fields. More strength will be a key to his being able to continue his hitting success at the next level when the pitching speeds up. Lange is also a good student.
