Jayden Ott is a 2028 C/RHP/SS with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Billings, MT who attends Billings Central Catholic. Features a medium sized build with developing athleticism. Ran a 8.22 60-yd dash. Behind the plate, showed developing catch throw skill. At times tried to move everything at once lacking some body control through his exchange and footwork. Does gain ground towards 2nd where his arm showed avg. strength and got off downhill semi-accurate throws to the bag. At the plate, works from an upright and even base. Used a bigger leg kick trigger which got down late at times. Noticeable arm bar at launch. Handsy direct bat path that cuts across and gets a bit spinny. Avg. bat/hand speed for his level. When on-time produced decent contact through the middle of the field. On the mound, side steps into a mid chest lift. Early quad-dominant push off the rubber moving with avg. length down the mound. Used a shorter arm circle out the back that works up to a higher 3/4 slot. Inconsistent command throughout his outing. Ran the FB up to 81 where it flashed carry-type shape and produced some in-zone whiff. Mixed in an upper 60s slider with shorter shape he backed up at times but also landed in-zone.
