Nicholas Strauss is a 2010 OF/1B with a 6'1'', 200 lb. frame from Plano, TX who attends Plano HS. Strong body, broad shoulders. Athletic actions, 7.15 runner, shows range in the outfield. Busy load hitting, big hand hitch, early stride, lots going on before bat gets going. Shows bat speed and strength in swing, aggressive with his hands, flashes occasional power. Settling down approach would lead to more consistent hard contact. Good student.
