Chris Rodgers is a 2009 OF/P with a 6'1'', 170 lb. frame from Clovis, CA who attends Buchanan High School. He has a lean build, and a strong OF arm. At the plate he had a quick bat, good hands, balance, projectable swing, and made hard contact to the opposite field. On the mound he has a 3/4 arm angle, long two piece arm action, good delivery, quick arm, fastball has sink, throws strikes, will throw harder and has a solid CB. He is a good student.
