Ewan Dahle is a 2028 C/1B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Cobourg, ON. Medium athletic build with some present strength to build on. Primary catcher on defense, sets up right knee down, has quick actions coming out of his crouch and shows his athleticism, compact arm action from a lower arm slot, has feel for the position and will continue to improve. Ran the thirty in 3.86. Switch-hitter at the plate, sets up in a spread and slightly open stance from both sides of the plate, similar bat speed from both sides as well, hands work better on the right side and were short and quick to the ball, high contact swing with some projection. Tended to hit around the ball from the left side with a pull only approach. Excellent student.
