Jason Perkins is a 2007 LHP/1B/OF with a 5'9'', 146 lb. frame from Panama City Beach FL, who attends Arnold . Jason has a lean body with an athletic build. Jason pitches from an over the top arm slot and has good pitching mechanics. Jason has a repeatable delivery which allows him to have good command of the strike zone. Jason gets good sink on his fastball and throws a solid curveball. Jason is an effective finesse left handed pitcher and pitches to get outs. At the plate, Jason starts with a slightly open stance and uses a no load approach to swing. He uses a short stride and his set up to his swing is solid. Jason has a level bat path but will occassionally drop his back shoulder. Jason is an excellent student.
