2026 PG Canadian National Showcases Qualifier (Friday)
Jackson Becker is a 2028 OF/RHP with a 6-4 195 lb. frame from Ottawa, ON who attends Sir Robert Borden. Long and lean, athletic build with big physical projection remaining. Primary outfielder on defense with two-way potential on the mound. Works through the baseball well and fields it properly off his front foot. Showed feel for creating angles to the ball. Accelerates his shoulder cleanly, putting easy carry on his throws. Recorded arm strength up to 90 mph from the outfield. Secondary right-handed pitcher, worked from the stretch with a lower leg lift. Fastball had explosive life to it, living around the zone while ultimately peaking at 88 mph. Mixed in a tight slider with spin nearing 2200 rpm. Right-handed hitter, starts in a slightly open, upright stance with a tight hand set-up. Utilizes a simple trigger for timing with easy bat speed and strength generated through impact. Has plenty of evident strength in the hands with feel for creating lift from gap to gap. Good barrel consistency with more power to project for as he adds strength. Posted an exit velocity of 87 mph. Great student. Named to the PG Canadian National Showcases Qualifier (Friday) Top Prospect List.
