Macy is a right-handed pitcher who throws a fastball, changeup, and curveball. She has good explosion off the mound and generates a solid wrist snap. Her motion is sound and she's currently sitting in the high 50's. Her changeup is around 40mph, and she throws it out the back of her hand. It is a really good pitch with a good speed differential. Her curveball has the makings of a really good pitch as long as her hand beats her hip. Occasionally her hip would interfere, affecting her release point.This pitch is excellent with movement and spin when her release point is on. Keep your eye on this young pitcher. She has massive potential and a high upside.
Defensively, Howe, working at 2nd base demonstrated her ability to make plays. She has an average arm and average fielding technique. Through continued growth and maturity, Howe has the skill and ability to improve.
Offensively, Macy is a right-handed hitter with a quick bat and aggressive bat path through the zone, Howe is able to shoot line drives to all fields, driving the ball gap to gap. She shows solid awareness in her swing and with continued development and staying on her current growth trajectory, she will be one to follow. She will have the potential to play at the next level.
