Dave Amerman is a 2028 RHP/OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Sewell, NJ who attends Washington Twp. Medium build with good present strength. Works from the stretch with with a high leg raise over the rubber and medium length stride down the mound, lower 3/4's arm slot. Fastball was in the low 80's and topped out at 83 mph with nice running life and plenty of strikes, induced lots of weak contact. Almost all fastballs, flashed a change up but no breaking balls and will have to develop his secondaries to take the next step. 5.56 runner in the sixty. Secondary outfielder on defense, tends to field the ball off to the side with developing glove work, rotational side arm thrower with a compact arm action and developing accuracy. Left handed hitter, sets up in a slightly open stance, swings hard and creates bat speed, loud barrels when he's timed up, geared for fastballs, has pull side power.
