Camren Campbell is a 2028 C/RHP/3B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Plainfield, IL who attends Plainfield South. Compact, strong build with present lower-half strength. Ran a 7.90 60-yard dash. Primary catcher on defense, shows a quick transfer and exchange with clean actions, posting a 2.06 pop time and 76 mph arm strength. On the infield, presents the glove well with solid footwork and accurate throws across (82 mph). On the mound, works from a compact delivery with a quick arm and clean release from a 3/4 slot, showing an 81 mph fastball and a 71 mph changeup, and overall strike throwing should keep tightening with continued reps. Right-handed hitter with an upright setup and an aggressive move to the ball, producing hard contact with a whippy barrel and strength at impact, and the feel for the barrel showed throughout the round.
