Christian Graydon is a 2029 SS/RHP with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Smyrna, GA who attends Campbell. Slender young athletic build. 7.28 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has soft hands at the ball and fields it cleanly, has an idea on his footwork and gets behind the ball and works through his throws, some developing young arm strength and makes accurate throws, has the actions and athleticism to continue to develop defensively as he gets stronger. Right handed hitter, sets up in a straight stance with a high back elbow and leg raise trigger, upper body rotational swing with some uphill plane, mostly pull side contact, can use his lower half more in creating bat speed. Took a turn on the mound, works from a well controlled wind up with a high leg raise and high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball was in the low 70's and topped out at 74 mph mph. Still developing feel and arm speed to spin the ball.
