JP Craven is a 2006 catcher/third baseman from Hingham HS in Hingham, Massachusetts, with a strong 6'2"/180 pound frame. As a right handed hitter, Craven hits from a slightly open stance. He has very good bat speed and good raw power. JP gets his hands to the ball and drive it as he makes consistent hard contact. He has quick feet behind the plate and an accurate arm with a 2.10 pop time. He moves well behind the dish and is a good blocker. JP is always in the game. Craven is a very good student.
