2007 Mid Atlantic Underclass Showcase
Andrew Ferguson is a 2010 MIF with a 5'11'', 165 lb. frame from West Chester, PA who attends Malvern Preparatory School. Andrew has an athletic build with some room to fill out. At the plate Andrew has an aggressive hitting approach and shows solid bat speed. He tends to cut under a lot of pitches and needs to work on leveling his swing plane and getting more extension out front. In the infield Andrew has good actions to the ball with solid footwork and nice hands. He will need to work on speeding up his release some and best projects at second base. Andrew is a strong student that should attract the attention of many small to mid-level college programs.
