Brandon Willson is a 2027 RHP/C/3B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Mesa, AZ who attends Highland. Wilson has a physical athletic frame with strength throughout. Primary catcher starting with a slight side saddle base staying back on the ball slightly with a chest height glove to hand transfer with a longer through the back side arm stroke from an over the top angle with accuracy on a hop to bases. Secondary pitcher with a slight side step into a mid chest height leg lift. Working from a mid 3/4s slot hiding the ball sightly in the backside with deception throughout the operation. Willson has a shorter stride down the slope mixing in 12-6 shaped breaking ball for Ks as well Changeup with late fade that tunnels the fastball well. Right handed hitter in the box with a wide even foot stance into a slight hanging leg lift trigger. The hands work uphill through the zone with advanced bat speed and some impact to the pull side. Brandon is an excellent student tin the classroom.
