2007 Mid Atlantic Underclass Showcase
Josh Barfield is a 2010 1B/3B with a 5'11'', 180 lb. frame from Pocomoke, MD who attends Snow Hill. Josh has a strong athletic build with good present strength. At the plate Josh has an aggressive hitting approach and makes consistent solid contact. He has good strength in his swing and shows nice power projection. Josh will get long with his swing at times and needs to make sure he doesn't swing around the ball. In the field Josh really gets after the ball and is solid around the bag. Josh is a solid student that should attract the attention of some smaller college programs.
