Right handed hitter, sets up in a slightly open stance with leg lift trigger, upper body swing with strong hands to drive his swing, pull side approach with some lift, can get into his lower half more for additional power. 5.50 runner in the forty. Primary first baseman on defense, has step by step actions to the ball and in his transitions, glove tends to get down late, soft accurate throws. Took a turn on the mound, works from the stretch with a big leg raise start, high 3/4's arm slot, repeats his mechanics well and throws strikes. Fastball was in the upper 70's with some cutting life, also threw a tight short slider for strikes. Good student.
