Owen Korbly is a 2026 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-11 140 lb. frame from Acton, MA who attends Acton-Boxborough Reg. Korbly worked from a range of defensive spots over the course of his event, starting as a primary LHP exclusively from the stretch. He displayed a short leg lift into balance and released from an over the top slot that generated sinking action on the FB up to 67 mph. Has plenty of time to refine the command of the arsenal with developing spin profile. From the OF, Korbly showcased sound footwork with a full arm stroke that projects for more arm strength in the future, currently touching 72 mph. He displayed good turns at 1B and effectively got behind the baseball with refining glove work. At the plate, the lefty started from a wider slightly open stance. with a compact hand set and toe tap trigger to produce consistent impact to the middle of the field. He flashed quickness to the hands with tools to build on in the future. Ran a 7.42 sixty yard dash.
