Jordan Jerome is a 2029 SS/RHP/UT with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from West Newton, PA who attends Belle Vernon Area. Medium lean athletic build with lots of time and room to get stronger. 7.50 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has a quick first step to the ball, can get his glove down earlier but fielded balls cleanly, quick release from an over the top arm slot, developing arm strength and carry. Also worked out in the outfield and behind the plate, sets up slightly side saddle behind the plate and strides open to throw, longer transfers off to the side, showed hand quickness receiving and his arm played well coming out of his crouch. Outfield likely his third best position. Took a turn on the mound, works from a full wind up with a short leg raise and turn into a medium stride down the mound, high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 80 mph and was mostly straight with occasional running life and in the zone. Change up was a solid pitch thrown with arm speed and some fade, also threw a 11/5 curveball. Good student.
