Ryan Wolf is a 2008 SS/2B with a 5'9'', 155 lb. frame from Hesperia, California, who attends Sultana High School. Wolf has a lean and athletic frame. He showed solid speed in the sixty (7.19), but he runs the bases well. Defensively he has solid footwork in the middle of the diamond that allows him to get in the proper fielding position. Wolf has body control, and he turns the double play well. His throws are accurate as well. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from a an average base, but he gets wide at contact. He has a line drive swing plane, and shows bat speed. Wolf took a solid batting practice. He centers the ball well, and he keeps his hands inside with the ability to hit to all fields. He is an excellent student as well.
