Scott Stanley is a 2008 MIF/OF with a 5'11'', 145 lb. frame from San Diego, California, who attends Canyon Crest Academy High School. He has a lean and projectable frame. Defensively he has nice footwork in the middle infield allowing himself to get in the proper fielding position. He has a quick release and accurate throws at 70 mph across the diamond. Stanley gets good reads off the bat, and he made solid plays in game action. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from an upright stance. Stanley has solid swing mechanics with a short and compact swing. He stays balanced throughout his swing, and he has a good eye and doesn't chase bad pitches. Stanley is a heady player who plays with good instincts.
