Kooper Klein is a 2027 3B/RHP/OF with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Mesa, AZ who attends Mountain View. Klein showed some speed on the sixty yard dash as he ran a 6.69. Young athletic frame with plenty of room to get stronger. Primary corner infielders staying back on the ball with some lateral range. Fielding cleanly in the center of the body with soft hands , quick transfers and some accuracy from a lower slot across the diamond. On the mound working exclusively from the stretch into a drop and drive drift down the mound. He moves with pace on the mound creating momentum down the slope with some length throughout the back side on the arm stroke and quickness in the shoulder. The breaking ball has a 12-6 shape as he is able to put it in the zone. Right handed hitter in the box with a wide even foot stance with a higher set hand start. The trigger is simple with a whippy lower half creating easy bat speed through the zone driving the ball hard on a line to the pullside. Kooper was named to the High School All State Top Prospect Team.
