Cameron Smith is a 2027 RHP/1B from Pella, who attends Pella. Cameron is a two way athlete who is a vocal leader as well on the diamond. On the mound Cameron is a pitcher who is still developing on the mound but is starting to build a solid foundation to work off of. She is understanding how to utilize her body to generate power off the mound and is going to continue to get better as she continues to develop. Does a great job being a vocal leader for her team defensively as well. Has a strong arm, quick out of the circle and has a strong presence about her that is contagious on the field. Offensively, she is a strong right handed power hitter with solid mechanics and a big upside. She does a good job creating barrel head whip in her swing and has the ability to hit to all parts of the field. Overall Cameron is a strong athlete that has the ability to play at the next level.
