Leileigh Hammons is a 2027 RHP/1B, 3B from Newton, IA who attends Newton. Leileigh is a two way athlete who shows a lot of upside offensively and in the circle. On the mound, she throws a fastball, changeup, screwball and off speed. She does a great job getting good snap with all her pitches. with her change up and her off speed she does a great job with theses two pitches of keeping the ball low in the zone. Spots her ball on the corners well and as she continues to work on her leg drive she will continue to see those speed numbers increase. Offensively, she is a right handed power hitter that does a good job maintaining her balance throughout her swing. She does a great job clearing her hands on the inside pitch and driving the ball to her pull side. Overall she is a strong athlete that will continue to get stronger. Very strong upside for this athlete and excited to watch her to continue to compete on the mound and in the box.
