Christian Larragoitiy is a 2009 1B/OF/P with a 6'0'', 180 lb. frame from Los Banos, California, who attends Dos Palos High School. Larragoitiy is a young player with a lean frame. Defensively he has solid actions at first base. He stays in front of the ball well. He showed good foot work and agility on bad throws at first base during game action. At the plate he is a left handed hitter who hits from an average base, but he gets wide at contact. Larragoitiy shows bat speed through the zone with a line drive swing plane. He gets good plate coverage, and puts the bat on the ball. He ripped the ball at times during the showcase games. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a medium arm circle. He has a low effort delivery with coiling action, and he stays balanced. He is a very good student as well.
