Eric Pearson is a 2006 right handed pitcher/first baseman from Merrimack Valley HS in Webster, New Hampshire, with a big and strong 6'4"/190 pound frame. On the mound, Eric throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with short arm action. He has a high leg kick and a balanced and online delivery. He throws an 81 mph fastball with arm side life and an 11-5 breaking curveball at 69 mph. Pearson is solid defensively at first base and moves well around the bag. At the plate, he hits from the right side with an open stance. He has good hands and generates very good bat speed. Pearson has leverage in his swing, good present raw power, and very good power potential.
