Kayden Lucas is a 2030 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Allyn, WA who attends Crosspoint. Slender high-waisted young build. Recorded a 7.50 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary infielder with a quick first step into the fielding process. Displayed plenty of lateral range to either side, works downhill through the baseball and showed the ability to change slots when necessary. Produced arm strength up to 79 mph across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked from an abbreviated windup with quick pace, a shorter leg lift into balance and medium stride out to front foot strike. Fastball worked in the mid-to-upper 70s for the duration of his outing with quickness to his shoulder and peaked at 78 mph in this look. Developing feel for spin with slurve shaped breaking ball with gradual depth and sweep to it, will continue to improve with mechanical refinements and additional velocity. Right-handed hitter that hits from a narrow base with a high hand set and big hanging leg lift trigger. Middle-of-the field approach with feel for the barrel and some present bat speed. Showed ability to turn the barrel over on the inner-half in-game action and will continue to improve impact potential with additional strength. Good Student.
