Estevan Saldivar is a 2024 3B/RHP, OF with a 6-0 220 lb. frame from Agoura Hills, CA who attends Agoura. He has a large frame and a physical build. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.66 seconds. Primary third baseman that shows solid actions to both sides.
He works hard to get into proper fielding position and showed a good feel for the glove, fielding it a little deeper in his body and funneling it to his chest well. He did a nice job of getting rid of the ball quickly and making accurate throws across the diamond. Secondary outfielder that attacks the ball with choppier feet and fields it off of his front foot. He transfers it quickly and throws with a small crow hop and medium arm action. He showed the ability to create nice carry on his throws to his targets. Offensively, he starts with an even base that is slightly open with a little bend in his knees. He uses a small stride forward to get square and for timing. He has a rotational swing through the zone and has a slightly uphill bat path. He showed nice strength in his hands when he was on time and made contact out in front of the plate. Excellent student.
