Justin Rariden is a 2007 right handed pitcher and outfielder with a 5'10", 175 pound frame from North Lauderdale, Florida who attends Coconut Creek High School. He has a very athletic frame with good strength. Justin pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with clean mechanics. He has a short arm circle on the mound with very low effort. His fastball has good arm side run on it at 74-78 mph. His curveball is very solid with 10/4 rotation at 63 mph while his change up has nice sink and fade at 66 mph. His delivery is very balanced and he throws strikes consistently. Rariden hits with an open stance and keeps his hands low. He makes consistent contact and has easy lift in his swing. He also showed the ability to drive the ball to all fields. In the field, Rariden really gets after it. He has good speed (7.00 60) and solid arm strength which he showed by throwing 82 mph from the outfield during the workout. Justin is a solid two way player who is also an excellent student.
