Reid Berry is a 2009 LHP/1B with a 6'2'', 180 lb. frame from Ashland, Va who attends Patrick Henry. Reid has a tall well-developed frame. On the mound Reid is a polished LHP that throws with a short clean arm action with a nice downhill plane. Reid does a good job of locating his pitches and changing speeds. For his off-speed pitches Reid has nice feel for a solid 1 to 7 curveball with good spin. At the plate Reid has a smooth left-handed swing with a level swing plane. He makes consistent contact and can hit the ball to all fields. Reid has clean actions at first base is solid around the bag. Reid is a player that could attract the attention of some smaller colleges.
