Andrew Ragsdale is a 2009 LHP/1B with a 6'2'', 220 lb. frame from Huntington Beach CA, who attends Huntington Beach HS. On the mound Andrew has an online delivery with nice life on his pitches. He has a paced delivery and shows off a 1 to 7 curveball. He really needs to work on getting more out of his lower half. At the plate Andrew has a quiet approach with a short swing. He will need to adjust his approach as he cuts off his swing a lot and really gets no power out of his body. At first base Andrew has soft hands and an accurate arm. Andrew is a player that could attract attention from a few smaller colleges.
