Edward Greene is a 5'11", 178 lb. first baseman from Greenville, North Carolina, who can hit. Greene moves well for a first baseman with 7.29 sixty speed. In the field he shows good actions with his glove, and good agility around the bag, but has an awkward release on his throws which limits his arm strength. Edward is a right handed hitter with a medium stance and good balance in his swing. Greene has a short, quick line drive swing path, and he gets to the ball all over the zone. He stays behind the ball well and squares up with short and quick attacking actions. He shows above average hand strength and should only get stronger. He will hit at the next level. Edward is an outstanding student.
