Dalton Meadows is a 2024 RHP/3B with a 6-4 210 lb. frame from McCall Creek, MS who attends Franklin County. Extra-large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present strength to frame, additional room to fill moving forward. Ran a 6.99 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, side step moving into delivery with a leg lift up past belt, shows arm speed through the backside working to a higher three-quarters release, can continue to incorporate additional lower half into drive. Fastball topped out at 89 mph, shows short life through the zone and able to attack hitters up while maintaining life, pitched to contact and worked around the zone with both pitches. Slider worked up to 78 mph, tends to get around it at times, flashes occasional depth to it. Full arm action on throws from the outfield, deliberate tempo, extra steps moving into release, will continue to quicken and refine overall actions. Right-handed hitter, upper body dominant swing with some timing triggers in lower half, full swing path through the zone, looks to create lift at point of contact, opens front side early in swing, shows ability to elevate when on time.
