Ian McKaughan is a 2028 OF/1B with a 5-7 120 lb. frame from Ashland, MA who attends Ashland. Longer, lean build with lots of length that can fill out. Ran a 8.10 in the sixty yard dash. Outfielder, shows solid footwork in his charges. Short arm action and higher slot produced on-line throws well to the bag. Left-handed hitter, open stance and starts square at the shoulder with leg lift trigger timing. Hands look to work the barrel out front from an uphill finish. Stayed up the middle well in his round. Some quickness to the hands, more in store as he matures and incorporates lower half more in his swing.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
